The Radsberg is located to the south of the provincial capital of Klagenfurt and can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
Thanks to its “microclimate”, the Radsberg is an insider tip, especially in spring, despite its low altitude.
This is because the thermals are often so good that you can fly up to 2500 meters or higher without any problems.
This opens up opportunities for hours of cross-country flights along the Drau between the Karawanken, Rosental and Keutschacher Seental valleys towards Villach and the Julian Alps.
